Ice Age Trail Hike

Join us on the part of the Ice Age Trail where we'll talk about the impacts of the glaciers and county history. The trail is on a dirt path that goes through various level changes and rugged terrain. This 2.5-mile looped trail goes through woods and roads. This hike may take about 2 hours with time for resting and talking. Please wear appropriate footwear.

Vault toilets are available near the observation tower, and water stations are available throughout the campgrounds.

Plan: Meet at the Old Ski Hill, where the Naturalist will introduce the hike. Parking is available by the Old Ski Hill or at the Observation Tower. A Vehicle Admission Pass is required for entry and can be purchased online or at the Visitors Center upon arrival. This event is recommended for all abilities and ages; please leave pets at home. This event will be cancelled in cases of rain or severe weather.

Consider bringing: Insect repellent, water bottle, snacks, hat and sunscreen.
