Colors in Nature Hike

Join us on the part of the Tower Trail where we'll talk about how color is used in nature along with a scavenger hunt activity. The trail is on a dirt path that is fairly flat and some minor level changes and curves. This 1-mile looped trail goes through woods and roads. This hike may take about 1 hour with time for resting and talking.

Flush toilets are available at the shower house near the campgrounds along with water stations all throughout both south and north campgrounds.

Plan: Meet at the Nature Center where the Naturalist will introduce the event. There is parking available by the Nature Center or within 5-minute walking distance. A Vehicle Admission Pass is required for entry and can be purchased online or at the Visitors Center upon arrival. This event is recommended for all abilities and ages, please leave pets at home. This event will be cancelled in cases of rain or severe weather.

Consider Bringing: Insect repellent, water bottle, snacks, hat and sunscreen.
