Birding Hike at Mieske Ponds

Description

Join members of the Horicon Marsh Bird Club for a walk around the Mieske Ponds at Horicon Marsh State Wildlife Area. Walk the dikes surrounding the ponds and remnant savannah and grasslands. Opportunity for marsh and woodland species.

Meet at the back parking lot of Swan Road and Mieske Ditch Road. GPS coordinates are (43.495676, -88.67392). 

Free and no registration required. A walk of 1-2 miles. Bring water and binoculars.
