What Can You Hear in Your Backyard?

Description

Children aged 1-8 will enjoy a reading of Paul Showers' "The Listening Walk," followed by a nature scavenger hunt with Master Naturalist Garth Ewing. This event aims to nurture curiosity and appreciation for nature and biodiversity among young children as they explore the sounds of birds, insects, plants, trees, flowers and other wildlife.

Bring a hat, water, bug spray and sunscreen. All children must be accompanied by an adult. 

Vehicle admission is required. Meet at the Welcome Center.
