Wildlife Tracking Workshop

-

Description

Join us as we welcome instructor Nicholas WazeeGale for this all-day workshop to learn about accurately tracking our local wildlife, including foot morphology (form) of various animal families, the way they move (gaits) and the patterns that result, and the signs they leave as they feed, travel, interact, scent mark and rest. The central sands area has a great variety of wildlife representing both northern and southern Wisconsin, and lots of good sandy substrate for registry.

We will spend some time in the classroom studying some helpful background information on these fascinating neighbors of ours, then drive to some pre-selected sites and walk around (most likely off-trail).

There's a $70 registration fee. Please use the contact information if interested!
