• Women of all backgrounds who feel confident shooting stationary targets with a shotgun, who are looking to make the move to wingshooting.

• Women who are beginning to intermediate wingshooters who are looking for additional instruction, perspectives and community.

• New shooters who intend to participate in upcoming Women's Wingshooting Nights are strongly encouraged to attend a Women's Wingshooting Instructional Clinic.

• This clinic is intended for adults, and participants must be at least age 16 to shoot. Girls ages 12 and up may attend as observers with an adult.

Program Description

This 2-hour clinic will orient beginner, novice and intermediate wingshooters to shotgun safety, operation, gun fit, shooting stance and methodologies to visualize and approach moving targets. The clinic is intended to give novice target shooters tools for future target practices, either with friends or on their own. We recommend bringing a notebook.

Instructors Rob and Holly Wright are certified National Sporting Clays Association Wingshooting instructors and active members at the Waunakee Gun Club. They shoot competitively and enjoy hunting in the fall with their German Wirehaired Pointer.
