Children's Wildflower Scavenger Hunt
Description
Pollinator Week is an international celebration promoting the valuable ecosystem services provided by bees, birds, butterflies, bats, beetles, moths, wasps and flies.
About 75% of all flowering plant species need animal pollinators for reproduction. As a result, pollinators contribute to ecosystem health and a sustainable food supply. Celebrate them with us this Pollinator Week!
Spend some time with the park naturalist as she explains all aspects of monitoring a monarch waystation for the Monarch Larva Monitoring Project. This community science program can easily be done right in your own yard.
