Description
Help remove garlic mustard from the Haskell Noyes State Natural Area!
Haskell Noyes State Natural Area comprises 61 acres of prime dry-mesic forest, which was never heavily logged or clear-cut during the 19th-century logging era. The land was purchased in 1947 to prevent imminent logging and designated a state natural area in 1952.
It has a rich diversity of plants that are under threat from invasive species, such as garlic mustard and buckthorn. Because of volunteer efforts, we are finding fewer and fewer of these plants throughout the natural area.
Meet at the Haskell Noyes parking lot on GGG (1935 Kettle Moraine Scenic Drive, Campbellsport, WI 53010).
Contact Connie Ramthun, Friends of the Kettle Moraine Invasives Coordinator, with any questions.
