Learn to Backpack

Description

New to traversing on the open trail but need some help? Come join our natural resource educator as they provide some tips and tricks to the wonderful activity of backpacking! We will then traverse to one of the backpack shelters located nearby.

We will meet at the Henry S Reuss Ice Age Center Auditorium.

We recommend bringing water, insect repellent, sturdy hiking shoes and a hiking pole.

The program will be canceled if extreme weather or unsafe trail conditions arise.

A vehicle admission pass is required.
