Learn To Ice Fish: Free Fishing Weekend

Join Madison Parks, Access Ability Wisconsin and volunteers from the Wisconsin DNR for a free ice fishing clinic this Free Fishing Weekend - no license required!
This event is meant for individuals ages 7 and up to learn to ice fish safely. All children must be supervised by an adult.
Advanced registration is necessary to attend, and attendance waivers will be signed on-site. Loaner fishing equipment and all supplies will be provided. An all-terrain track chair will be on site so that people with mobility limitations can learn about ways to stay active in the outdoors.
This event is free to attend and coincides with Wisconsin's Free Fishing Weekend, so a fishing license is not required. Class size is limited to 25. You can register online on the city of Madison website or by phone at 608-266-4711.
