Glacial Lake And Whispering Pines Hike

Description

Join us on the Glacial Lake and Whispering Pines Trails for a fun hike.

The trail has a fairly flat and level surface. This 2-mile looped trail goes around a pond, past a large sand blow and through a pine plantation. The hike will take about 1.5 hours on average.

A portable toilet (non-flush) is available at the Kid's Pond Shelter, where we will meet, or a flush toilet at the park office. A drinking fountain is available at the park office.

Plan: Meet at the Kid's Pond Shelter. Parking lot, is across from the park entrance. A vehicle admission pass is required for entry and can be purchased online or at the park office upon arrival. One All-Terrain Wheelchair is available for use at this event and can be reserved in advance.

This event is recommended for all abilities and ages; please leave pets at home. This event will happen in any weather, rain or shine. Dress accordingly and consider bringing a water bottle, snacks, insect repellent, boots and rain gear.
