Candlelight Ski/Hike In Partnership With The Friends Of The Kettle Moraine

Join us for a magical candlelight ski or hike at the Zillmer Trail's 1.2-mile Brown Loop.

Candlelight skiing requires no special talent or technique, and the trail's terrain is flat and suited for both novice and experienced skiers. The brown ski loop is designated for hiking/snowshoeing during the event only.

Take a break, warm up by the cozy fires at the shelter building, and enjoy hot drinks and snacks provided by the Friends of the Kettle Moraine.

Pets are prohibited at this event. Parking is limited and not permitted along the roadway for safety.

The event is free, but a Wisconsin State Park Vehicle Admission Sticker is required. Stickers can be purchased online or at the entrance booth on the day of the event.

The event will be held with or without adequate skiing snow. Only extreme (cold) temperatures or unsafe trail conditions would cancel the event.
