Learn To Hunt Turkey – Prescott Sportsman's Club

Join the Prescott Sportsman's Club for an exciting learn-to-hunt turkey class. This hands-on course covers everything from understanding turkey behavior, learning about turkey habitat, understanding calling techniques and understanding safety protocols and ethical hunting practices. 

Participants will learn how to scout for turkeys, use decoys effectively and practice shooting with guidance from experienced instructors. The class will be held on April 5 for an introduction class period, followed by the hunt on April 12 and 13 at the Prescott Sportsman's Club (W11914 620th Ave., Prescott, WI 54021).

Registration is required to attend this class. To register, go to gowild.wi.gov and log in or create an account if you don’t already have one. Click on the Manage Safety Education tab, click “Search for Class” and select "Learn to Hunt” as Course Type and “Pierce” as County in the drop-down tabs. Register with your Customer ID number.
