Public hearing on a proposal to designate a state recreation area in Columbia County, as required by s. 23.091 of the Wisconsin Statutes. Attendees, including those who wish to provide testimony, must pre-register at the URL provided and will receive a link for the hearing in the registration confirmation.
The hearing will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a brief overview of the proceedings, followed by a presentation about the state recreation area designation proposal and a short overview of master planning. Additional topics related to the MacKenzie Center will be contemplated as part of the regional master planning effort for DNR lands that includes this property (Central Sand Hills Regional Master Plan).
