The DNR Bear Advisory Committee, a diverse group representing government agencies, non-governmental organizations, tribal interests and conservation groups, meets to discuss issues relating to bear management. The committee advises the DNR Wildlife Leadership Team on a variety of topics, such as hunting regulations, conflict management, surveys and research priorities.
The Wisconsin DNR's Bear Advisory Committee intends to discuss:
DNR budget update
Administrative rule housekeeping update
Committee work planning
Bear education and outreach updates
Bear tooth submission and hunter checklist cards
Wolf conflicts with hunting dogs
