The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) will hold a meeting of the Wolf Advisory Committee on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2026. The committee will discuss policy and technical topics relevant to wolf management. This meeting will be open to the public in person or virtually via Zoom.
Public comments related to agenda items and committee business will be accepted. Written comments must be submitted by noon on Feb. 24 and will be shared with committee members prior to the meeting. Please email comments to Danielle.Deming@wisconsin.gov.
In-person attendees may instead register to provide a verbal comment during the meeting. Comments are limited to two minutes or less. Please note that registering to attend the Zoom meeting does not mean you have also registered to provide a verbal comment. Email Danielle.Deming@wisconsin.gov by noon on Feb. 24 to register to speak during the public comment period. Any comments submitted after the deadline will not be accepted. There will be no virtual option for comments.

9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Wolf management updates
5 min BREAK
10:35 – 11 a.m. WAC feedback on management objectives and priorities
11 a.m. – noon Wolf education and outreach efforts
Noon – 1 p.m. Lunch (pizzas and sides) – provided on site for committee members
1 – 2:45 p.m. Discussion on elements of future wolf harvest seasons
2:45 – 3 p.m. Feedback and Adjourn
