Details

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is reviewing a permit application to place piers in Webb Lake. The project is located in the SW of SE of Section 16, Township 41N, Range 14W in Town of Webb Lake, Burnett County.

The Webb Lake Campground Dock Project’s goal is to gain safe and stable marine docking for the community. Currently there are 6 roll in docks that are very old, unsafe, unstable and in need of extensive repair. The 6 docks are all along the main shoreline and have been there for over 20 years. There are currently 32 mooring slips available and this has been the case for over the last 20+ years as well. This project plan is to replace all existing docks with new floating docks.

The hearing will be a public informational hearing where members of the public can learn more about the proposed activity and submit written or oral comments about the waterway and project.
