The DNR has prepared a State Implementation Plan (SIP) revision to update the motor vehicle emissions budgets (MVEBs) for the Inland Sheboygan County, Shoreline Sheboygan County and Kenosha County maintenance areas for the 2008 ozone NAAQS. These MVEB updates are necessary to address changes in emission estimates in the EPA’s latest approved mobile source emissions model. 

This SIP revision does not change any emissions control requirements, implement any new regulatory measures or programs or allow any increase in actual emissions in these areas. This SIP revision is necessary to ensure uninterrupted transportation planning in southeast Wisconsin.
