The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is proposing to submit an update to the Wisconsin State Implementation Plan (SIP) for air quality to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The DNR has prepared the attainment plans to fulfill the Clean Air Act (CAA) SIP requirements for the Milwaukee, Sheboygan and Kenosha nonattainment areas for the 2015 ozone NAAQS. These plans fulfill Wisconsin’s Moderate-area attainment planning, emissions inventory and control program assessment obligations under the CAA for these areas.
