The Nonmotorized Recreation and Transportation Trails Council (NRTTC) carries out studies and provides and consultation to the legislature, governor, Department of Natural Resources and Department of Transportation on all matters related to nonmotorized recreation and transportation trails, including planning, acquisition, development, maintenance and management. A draft agenda will be posted to the NRTTC website prior to the meeting. A portion of the agenda near the end of the meeting will allow for public comments.

The Snowmobile Recreation Council carries out studies and makes recommendations to the Legislature, Governor, Department of Natural Resources and Department of Transportation on all matters related to the snowmobiling program at DNR or otherwise affecting snowmobiles and snowmobiling in Wisconsin. It also makes recommendations to the DNR regarding funding grant applications.
The Infrastructure Committee, made up of members of the Snowmobile Recreation Council, will meet to discuss topics related to the program and make recommendations to the DNR. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) will host the next PFAS External Advisory Group (EAG) meeting from 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. on Friday, June 21, 2024.
Agenda items include updates and discussion on recent and anticipated PFAS actions, a guest speaker from the University of St. Thomas and updates from working groups.
This is a working meeting of the EAG. While the public is invited to attend, there may not be opportunities to engage in the discussion. Questions may be submitted in advance to DNRPFASInquiries@wisconsin.gov.

The DNR Waterways Program is proposing to reissue a general permit for wetland disturbance authorized under a Special Area Management Plan (SAMP) in the City of Superior. Projects covered under this permit include residential, commercial, public, institutional and industrial development in eligible wetlands. This permit was first issued in 1996 and was adopted in parallel with a general permit authorized by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
