The training will explain the stages of environmental rule development, facility-specific permit reviews and where public input can impact outcomes. Registration is limited to the first 250 participants.

​​​​​The City of Antigo owns and operates the Spring Brook Pollution Abatement Facility, a domestic wastewater treatment system that serves a population of approximately 8,234. The facility discharges to Spring a Brook within Spring Brook Watershed in the Upper Wisconsin River Drainage Basin in Langlade County. The proposed permit reissuance includes a mercury variance.

  • Some sites have a capacity limit and may require travel on unpaved roads.

  • Transportation and food are NOT provided.

  • Tours may be indoors at times, so please follow COVID safety guidance for the protection of yourself and others.

Through a Good Neighbor Authority (GNA) agreement, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) uses revenue generated from timber sales on the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest to carry out authorized restoration services on the national forest.

We’re pleased to invite you to share your feedback during an online discussion about GNA program revenue spending. We ask participants to review the DNR’s GNA program revenue projects information and how program revenue can be spent at the following site: https://dnr.wisconsin.gov/topic/forestmanagement/gna

The Snowmobile Recreation Council carries out studies and makes recommendations to the Legislature, Governor, Department of Natural Resources and Department of Transportation on all matters related to the snowmobiling program at DNR or otherwise affecting snowmobiles and snowmobiling in Wisconsin, and makes recommendations to the department of natural resources with regard to funding grant applications. 

The Snowmobile Recreation Council will meet to make funding recommendations to the department.  In particular, the Council will review updated information on projects discussed at the previous meeting. The public will be invited to join the meeting via Zoom or in person. The Zoom meeting link, agenda, and other meeting materials are available on the Snowmobile Recreation Council web page.
