These bid results are provided by the respective county forest in their own format. Results of the bid openings can be of value in establishing stumpage trends and also to highlight the competitive bidding process used (and required) on the county forests.
Stumpage rates are highly variable and those received on county forest sales may not be typical for private lands or other properties that do not offer similar amounts of certified timber on a regular basis.
