Wildlife Rehabilitation Advisory Committee

The Wildlife Rehabilitation Advisory Committee provides recommendations to the Department on wildlife rehabilitation-related items, including but not limited to annual updates to specific species rehabilitation guidance as appropriate, reviews of regulations and policies, creating or recommending licensing requirements such as exams, and clarifying continuing education license requirements. The committee will also assist with public education and outreach, such as with Keep Wildlife Wild. The committee will serve as a forum for exchanging information between the WDNR and the wildlife rehabilitation community in the State.

Regulations

Captive wildlife regulations are found in the State Statute, CH 169, the Administrative Code NR 16, and wildlife rehabilitation regulations in the Administrative Code, NR 19.
