Trout regulation maps

The following state map shows different sections of the state and is meant to be a general guide to help you locate trout waters. The maps do not include unnamed streams or all spring ponds. For exact boundaries of regulations and open seasons see the Guide to Wisconsin Trout Fishing Regulations, 2021-2022 [PDF]

To view a trout waters map, select the region of Wisconsin you plan on fishing from the map. Each trout waters map is contained within an Adobe Acrobat [PDF] file. Note that the map files can be large, so please allow a few moments to download them. Your best option may be to right-click on the maps, choose "Save Target As" to save them to your hard drive and then open the file. Because the maps rely on color to denote the various regulation categories, the maps are best printed on a color printer or viewed on your monitor.
