Incidental Take Notice for Adams County

Good News For Endangered Species In A Challenging Year
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) continues to made strides supporting endangered species in 2020. This includes helping threatened turtles, aiding promising field trials for vaccines to save bats from white-nose syndrome and restoring a globally rare bedrock glade in the Baraboo Hills. Reports of endangered bumble bee sightings in 2020 reached record numbers, matching an upward trend of people turning to nature.

Help Shape Deer Management In Wisconsin
Wisconsinites have two upcoming opportunities to weigh in on deer hunting across the state. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) will host virtual public meetings in each county to discuss deer management Dec. 7-18 and a separate virtual public hearing Dec. 9 on the current white-tailed deer hunting season.
