Incidental Take Notice For Racine County
The Racine West 6th Street Sewer Relocation Project may result in the incidental taking of a rare snake under a permit the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) proposes to issue for the project. Incidental take refers to the unintentional loss of individual endangered or threatened animals or plants that does not put the overall population of the species at risk.

DNR Working With Multiple Agencies To Remove Invasive Carp From Mississippi River
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and neighboring state and federal agencies will conduct an intensive invasive carp removal effort in Pool 8 of the Mississippi River near La Crosse beginning April 5. The innovative Modified Unified Method (MUM) combines netting and herding techniques to drive and concentrate invasive carp from a large area of water into a small zone for removal.

DNR Seeking Public Comment For Environmental Review Of The City of Park Falls Safe Drinking Water Loan Program Project
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) today announced the City of Park Falls is an applicant for funding through the Safe Drinking Water Loan Program (SDWLP) to address deficiencies in its public drinking water system. The project includes both street and utility reconstruction on sections of Avery Avenue, Case Avenue, Paddock Avenue, Sherry Avenue, Spruce Street and Linden Street.
