Clover Valley Wildlife Area

Clover Valley Wildlife Area is a 1,034-acre property (654 owned, 380 acres leased) located 2 miles south of Whitewater in Walworth County off State Highway 89 and Island Road. It consists of wetlands, grasslands and hardwood forest. It contains a portion of the Walworth County leg of the Ice Age Trail [exit DNR]. Brook Creek meanders through the western parcel. Wetlands provide waterfowl hunting opportunities, and uplands provide opportunities for deer, pheasants, woodcock and small game. Sandhill cranes also frequent the area.
