Ridgeville Wildlife Area

Ridgeville Wildlife Area is a property owned by Monroe County and located 2 miles north of Norwalk, with access on County Highway T and County Highway U.


The Ridgeville Wildlife Area offers many recreational opportunities:

  • Birding;
  • Cross-country skiing (no designated trail);
  • Fishing;
  • Hiking;
  • Hunting (especially noted for waterfowl, woodcock, deer, pheasants, wild turkeys and furbearers);
  • Trapping;
  • Wild edibles/gathering; and
  • Wildlife viewing.

Private lands under easement are for hunting and fishing only.
