Bloomfield Wildlife Area

Bloomfield Wildlife Area is a 1,203-acre property located in southeastern Walworth County. It consists of wetlands, grasslands and scattered woodlots. The wetlands and grasslands provide good deer and waterfowl hunting opportunities. Pheasants, woodcock and small game are also present.

Find it between Genoa City and Lake Geneva off U.S. Highway 12. Access is off Bloomfield, Litchfield and Brever roads.

Recreation

The Bloomfield Wildlife Area offers many recreational opportunities:

  • Cross-country skiing (no designated trail);
  • Fishing;
  • Hiking (no designated trail);
  • Hunting;
  • Trapping;
