DNR Seeking Public Comments On Green Tier Application For RSG-Norlake

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) today announced RSG-Norlake is an applicant to join Tier 1 of the Green Tier program. Green Tier is a voluntary program for businesses, local governments and organizations. Tier 1 is designed to encourage, recognize and reward groups committed to superior environmental performance. Applicants must have a good environmental record and agree to implement an environmental management system, which will be used to set goals, assess their progress and identify opportunities for improvement.

DNR Plans Drawdown For Cruson Slough In August 2023

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) today announced it will be conducting a full drawdown on Cruson Slough in Richland County beginning this August. The drop in water levels is necessary to prepare the site for upcoming construction and repairs slated for late summer of 2023. The project will involve rebuilding the dike and replacing the water control structure, as recommended by the DNR's annual structural inspections.
