Final Fish and Habitat Survey Reports
Collected here are Fish and Habitat Surveys for selected Wisconsin water bodies in final format.
Each finalized survey report listed here is a summary document which outlines significant findings and observations obtained during a survey conducted by staff of the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and subsequent analysis of the data by DNR staff. The reports include a wide range of locations and survey types and may document management recommendations supported by data as well as qualitative observations noted by the survey efforts.
The length and amount of detail vary according to the intensity and duration of each survey effort. Reports are arranged by county with the most recent surveys first and then alphabetically within the year in which the survey took place. These are not complete listings of all DNR survey efforts.

The Great Lakes Indian Fish and Wildlife Commission (GLIFWC) is an inter-tribal, co-management agency committed
to the implementation of off-reservation treaty rights on behalf of its eleven Ojibwe member tribes. Formed in 1984
and exercising authority specifically delegated by its member tribes, GLIFWC´s mission is to help ensure
significant, off-reservation harvests while protecting the resources for generations to come. Inland Fisheries
staff at GLIFWC conduct numerous fisheries surveys
in the ceded territories of Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. GLIFWC´s fisheries assessment crews
typically conduct 15 to 20 spawning adult walleye population estimates every spring, and around 100 to 150 walleye
recruitment surveys every fall.

Our fisheries biologists also have made available other reports on lakes around the state, including the Ceded Territory. This information, however, has not been thoroughly reviewed.
